at least I know that much.

My photographs still adorn the walls,

my books, my clothes and such.

Their sorrows rose up when I left their side,

I fought against it to no avail.

If they only knew that I'm still here,

the man behind the veil.

This thin wall that seperates us,

is transparent from just my side.

Hindsight is so much clearer,

So much clearer since I died.

Sometimes they nearly hear me,

They seem somewhat in dismay.

At times they'll ask, "You hear that?",

Before their goosebumps fade away.

The people here are decent and kind,

yet they urge me to move on.

But its hard to turn your back on those you love,

even though they think your gone.

Someday soon I'll travel onward,

to that place I've yet to see.

But today my family needs me,

Homes the place I need to be.

So each day I watch them quietly,

There for them win or fail.

I know I have a job to do,

The man behind the veil.

There's so much that I could tell them now,

If there only was a way.

I was pulled before my job was done.

There's still so much to say.

So for now I choose to remain here,

to help guide them down lifes trail.

I'll be here sight unseen watching over them,
